Really, it's also best for battery, mine is B&D 18 volt. My neighbor has tough-thick blade grass on 300 feet edge. With B&D line, and 8 batteries I could do almost half-150 feet. With this line I could do all 300 feet on just 5 batteries, it ate 2 spools, I estimate to be 30 feet each - as I wind my own now thanks to a guy that said it was cheaper. But that doesn't really tell you anything. SO, I DID THE MATH..250 PER FOOT $ 7.50 30 foot spool on B&D round line .134 PER FOOT $12.11 90 foot triple spool pack on B&D round line .030 PER FOOT $ 8.58 282 foot GRASS GATOR 5 blade package. .027 PER FOOT $16.44 600 foot CYCLONE 6 blade package. I haven't tried that CYCLONE line because the reviews talk about jamming. The difference between 25 cents a foot and 3 cents a foot is dramatic all by itself. Then add I got twice as far with almost HALF the batteries is pretty dramatic again...
